Beet greens protein smoothie
Ingredients
1 &1/2 liquid of choice (we used unsweetened almond milk)
1 scoop of preferred protein powder (we used True protein vanilla vegan protein powder)
1 scoop trilogy super greens (we used mixed berry)
1 cup beetroot stems & leaves
1 small cooked beet
1/4 cup organic mixed berries
1/2 avocado
1 banana
Method
Mix all ingredients together in a blender and serve
Beet greens which resemble silverbeet, are packed with essential nutrients that support your bodyβs immune system & help strengthen your bones. An excellent source of potassium which is vital to your heart and digestive tract. Beet greens also contain magnesium - which helps to maintain normal nerve and muscle functions.
